Since I retired, my wife and I travel around Beautiful British Columbia in our 29' Komfort 5th wheel trailer. We enjoy hiking, kayaking and learning about local history. Some of our favorite areas for hiking and kayaking are the provincial parks of British Columbia and the national parks of Western Canada.

In the summer of 2008 we spent a few months on Vancouver Island visiting Campbell River, Port McNeill, Port Hardy and the City of Victoria. In the winter we like to spend some of time in Mesa, Arizona hiking and kayaking spectacular man-made lakes.

In the fall of 2008 I joined the pickleball club in Venture Out and quickly became addicted to this sport. I am always asked “What is Pickleball “. It’s a paddle type of sport that is very popular with seniors. For more information please visit www.usapa.org.
