Since I retired, my wife and I travel around Beautiful British Columbia in our 29' Komfort 5th wheel trailer. We enjoy hiking, kayaking and learning about local history. Some of our favorite areas for hiking and kayaking are the provincial parks of British Columbia and the national parks of Western Canada.

In the summer of 2009 we spent some time camping and kayaking at Tunkwa Lake, a few weeks visiting relatives in Alberta and ended up in one of my favorite places, Jasper National Park. This year we had friends join us for a week in Jasper for some outstanding hiking.

In the fall of 2008 I joined the pickleball club in Venture Out and quickly became addicted to this sport. I am always asked “What is Pickleball “. It’s a paddle type of sport that is very popular with seniors. For more information please visit Pickleball Canada or USA Pickleball Association.
